| The entry: a fusion of stone, wood and structural steel, is in harmonious balance. The T&G ceiling of the entry roof caries through on into the interior providing continuity between exterior and interior space. |

Left: Cherry wood inlay in a hard maple balustrade. The newels are glue lams wrapped in cherry. The stair treads are also glue lam. The floor is cherry wood and the majority of architectural woodwork is done in cherry through out the home.
Right: Stairway as seen from landing looking out across the foyer and into the ceiling of the covered exterior. Tempered glass (floor to balustrade only) substituted for tightly spaced balusters keeps an open feel and every one safe. |
